Detailed Analysis
Taking Alanine and Medium Chain Fatty Acid together does not appear to cause any significant interactions. In newborn rats, medium-chain fatty acids were shown to help reverse fasting-induced hypoglycemia, but this effect was not directly related to Alanine. No human studies have investigated a potential interaction between these two supplements. No mechanism of interaction was reported. However, medium-chain fatty acids can increase glucose production in the liver through a process called gluconeogenesis, which might theoretically involve amino acids like Alanine. However, the exact biochemical pathway is unclear.
